Third-Party Services
This website is hosted on secure servers. We do not use analytics trackers, cookies for advertising, or third-party data processors beyond what is necessary to operate the site and deliver email communications.
Chat, Cookies & Browser Storage
This section describes what this website itself stores and where your information goes when you use its features.
- Chat assistant: Nothing is stored in your browser for the chat until you open it. When you open the chat, the site sets a session cookie (PHPSESSID), which lasts until you close your browser, and saves a random visitor ID (htr_vid) in your browser's local storage so your conversation can continue. If you give your name in the chat, it is also saved in your browser (htr_name) and sent with your messages so Jana knows who she is talking to.
- Chat messages: Messages you write in the chat are sent to DeepSeek, an AI service based in China, to generate the assistant's replies. Conversations are kept on this website's server so that Jana can read them and reply personally if you ask for her; she can delete conversations. If you leave a message for Jana in the chat, your name, email address and message are sent to her. Conversations stay on the server until Jana deletes them.
- Language choice: When you switch between English and Slovak, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (ht-lang) so the site remembers it.
- Fonts: The fonts are hosted on this website itself, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other font service, and there are no third-party trackers or analytics.
- Booking form: The details you enter are sent by email to Jana. When you tick the box to agree to the Terms & Conditions, Disclaimer and Privacy Statement, the tick and the date and time are recorded in that email. To prevent spam, the server also notes the IP address a form is sent from, to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour.
Local storage is a small storage area in your browser, similar to a cookie. You can remove these items and the cookie at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
Your Rights

- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
