About us
Lime plaster, applied by hand
Venetian plaster is slaked lime and crushed marble, laid on in thin coats and polished with a steel trowel. Because the colour sits in the plaster rather than on top of it, the wall has a depth that paint can't match.
We have been plastering since 2011, mostly in houses and flats across London. The person who quotes for your job is the person on site doing it, and we only use lime-based plasters with natural pigments.
- Marmorino
- A soft, stone-like finish, from matt to a gentle sheen. Good for living rooms and hallways.
- Stucco veneziano
- Burnished to a high polish that looks like marble. Best on smooth, sound walls.
- Tadelakt
- A Moroccan lime finish sealed with olive soap, so it resists water. Used in showers and bathrooms.

How we work
Our process

Site visit
We look at the room, check the condition of the walls and talk through finishes and colours. It usually takes about an hour.

Sample boards
We make up samples in the colours you like, so you can see them in your own light before you decide.

Preparation
Walls are repaired, levelled and primed. Most problems with Venetian plaster start with poor preparation, so we take our time here.

Application and polish
Two to four thin coats, each trowelled and burnished. A typical room takes three to five days, plus drying time.
